Williams’s Wrap: A Brief Break

After a very busy, and dangerous night, [extreme] flood waters have receded.  Some areas in the Metro received as much as 4″ and 5″ of rain!

Rain

Saturday morning brings a few more showers/t-storms to the area, mainly north of the Metro.  But Kansas City has a slight chance for seeing at least a few drops.  Expect breaks in the clouds by the afternoon with highs warming into the mid/upper 80s.  Even though we’ll get a break from the rain in the morning and for some of the afternoon, it won’t last long.

Another slight chance for spotty showers/t-storms develops later in the day and into the evening.  Saturday as a whole won’t be a washout but with the chance for a few thunderstorms continuing into Sunday, it will still be a weekend to be weather aware if you have outdoor plans.
