Suchan Says: More Great Weather!

Wow, truly some awesome early September across the region and the good news, it will extend into some of our Labor Day weekend forecast!

Another refreshingly cool night ahead with mid to upper 50s.  Friday is only slightly cooler than Thursday with mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies.

Friday night high school football games will enjoy low 70s at kickoff then into the 60s by the second half.

I will keep the weekend forecast dry and that includes northwest tip of Missouri where I had been holding on to a slight 20% rain chance.  Latest charts keep all rain chances up into Nebraska and western Iowa through the holiday weekend.

The big change for Labor Day is the heat.  Temperatures in the 80s to even lower 90s are likely and they will stay in place for much of next week.  Summer isn’t done just yet!
