My gosh, what a great looking forecast for the three days. Saturday is the coolest of the weekend with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s to around 80 in spots.
Sunday is another mostly sunny to perhaps partly sunny for a brief period. Highs should climb into the lower to mid 80s across the area. Any chance of rain is confined to Nebraska to western Iowa.
Only thing worth watching is Sunday night as one computer model attempts to drive an outflow boundary from storms way up north south into eastern Kansas late Sunday night. This is a low confidence feature and scenario as we really need to see the convective pattern and how it evolves Sunday to our northwest for this to have any merit. If indeed an outflow boundary pushes south, a few storms would be possible in western sections late Sunday night.
Otherwise Labor Day Monday turns out mostly sunny and much warmer with upper 80s to near 90 likely to finish the holiday weekend.
