Suchan Says: Heat and Storms Ahead

Back to work Tuesday will follow Labor Day’s script of plenty of sunshine, gusty south winds and highs pushing to the 90 degree mark or higher in most areas.  Factor in the humidity, it should feel like it’s in the upper 90s to perhaps 100 in spots.

The chance of rain returns to the forecast Wednesday morning especially in northwestern sections of the viewing area.  Through the day, it’s certainly not a washout of a forecast and in fact, there should be some pockets of sun.  I do however expect to see occasional showers or a thunderstorm in the area to finish the day.  Highs will likely have more of a range from lower 80s up to the northwest to low 90s in far southeast sections of the viewing area.

Jumping ahead to the weekend, cold front will sweep out all rain chances by Friday night leaving us a sun filled weekend with 70s on Saturday then just into the lower 80s on Sunday!

Hot sunshine Tuesday

Wednesday Morning: Few showers or a thunderstorm

Wednesday Late Day: Still a few showers or a thunderstorm
