Teachman’s Take: Changes Are Brewin’

Winds are staying strong out ahead of a cold front with gusts to 25 MPH today.  This front will usher in changes for the next several days.  Today won’t be a washout as clouds increase.  By lunch, there is a chance for a few storms across NE KS and NW MO.  The best chances for rain through the day will be in the northern half of the area compared to the southern half.  Today will also mark the last “hot” day for a while with highs near 90 this afternoon.

Here is today’s Severe Storm Outlook where a “Marginal” risk has been pinpointed for northern Missouri:

Showers and thunderstorms will increase throughout the area Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.  Temperatures will be humid in the middle 80s.  More storms are in store for Friday and some of this rain could be heavy at times.  Skies will clear by Saturday.  It will feel refreshing over the weekend with highs in the middle to upper 70s.  Our rain chances go back up late Monday through Wednesday of next week.

Take care,
