Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around through the morning commute.  There will be a few isolated pockets of heavier downpours.  This rain will shift south as the morning goes on.  While an isolated shower or storm cannot be ruled out this afternoon, most locations will be dry with cloudy skies.  A few slivers of sunshine are possible.  Highs will be humid and warm in the middle 80s.

Best rain chances for Friday morning will be south of I-70.  By afternoon, a line of stronger thunderstorms will arrive between 4 and 7 PM.  Some of these storms could be severe with gusty winds.  The heaviest rain is expected to remain well south of I-70.
