Suchan Says: Two Rounds of Storms

Tonight’s storms will heavily favor the southern half of the viewing area with little to no severe weather risk.  However, flash flooding remains elevated through tonight in this region where storms may train across the area same producing torrential rainfall.

Likely zone of heavy rain with storms overnight

The middle of the day Friday actually looks reasonably tame with only an isolated rain chance and even a few pokes of sun.  As we progress into the evening time frame, a strong cold front will push into the area with developing storms along and ahead of the boundary.  The main window to watch for storms is 6pm – 11pm.

These storms could bring strong wind gusts, some hail along with frequent lightning and downpours.  Rain from these storms would taper off shortly after midnight Friday night leading into a gorgeous weekend ahead!
