While much of Wednesday will be quiet with partly to mostly cloudy skies, two more significant chances for storms are headed our way.

Temperatures will be cool this morning near 60 with a shift to another summer-like afternoon in the upper 70s.  There’s a 20% chance for a pop-up shower or storm between 4 and 7 PM today.

Thursday morning, new storms will develop and could be strong to severe with large hail. Heavy rain is also likely with this early morning display of storms.  By afternoon, more storms will fire up and these could also be severe with gusty winds, hail and heavy rain.

Most of the rain should push out by Friday morning. Skies will eventually clear and temperatures will drop. Highs through Thursday will be well above normal in the upper 70s. By Friday, we’ll struggle to reach 60. Overnight temps heading into the weekend will be chilly in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Sunshine dominates this weekend with highs in the mid-60s Saturday and jumping to the 70s by Sunday.

Take care,

Teach
