Teachman’s Take: Frosty Temps Tonight
***FREEZE WARNINGS & FROST ADVISORIES
IN EFFECT 1 AM – 10 AM THURSDAY***
Mostly cloudy any rain ending early this afternoon. Temperatures are falling as the cold front slides through this morning. We’re dropping into the 50s where we will stay for the rest of the day. Winds will be strong from the northwest, making it feel cooler.
Skies will clear out overnight and with a fresh pool of cold air, frost is likely across much of the Storm Track 5 area. Overnight lows will dip into the lower to middle 30s. It’s definitely a good idea to bring in any plants and flowers or cover them up tonight.
Temps remain cool in the upper 50s for Thursday. There’s another chance for a shower for Friday with highs in the upper 60s. Over the weekend, we’re back into the 70s with a chance for storms late Saturday and into Sunday morning.
