Williams’s Wrap: Warm and Windy

Besides some morning fog to our north, clear skies usher in a sunny start to Sunday for many of us.  Having few clouds in the sky will help temperatures reach the lower 80s.  But it will also be our strong southerly winds supplying the warmer air, gusting up to 25-30mph.

High winds peak Monday and could gust up to 35mph.  Another mostly to partly sunny day to start the work week but it will be much warmer.  Highs reach the upper 80s, giving Kansas City a good shot at breaking/tying a record that’s decades old!

A push of cooler air late Monday night starts a cooling trend that will bring highs closer to normal and even below normal later in the week.
