Teachman’s Take: Goodbye Rain, Hello Warm Temps!
Most of the showers are now starting to taper across the Storm Track 5 area. Clouds will hold strong today with sunshiny breaks by late afternoon. Temperatures will start mild in the lower 60s. We should be able to squeeze out the middle 70s by afternoon. Between 1 PM and 5 PM, I can’t rule out a pop-up shower north of I-70 and east of I-35 on the Missouri side.
Sunshine holds strong from Thursday through Halloween. Highs on Thursday are expected to be unseasonable in the lower 70s. We’ll keep warming to a toasty (for October that is) lower 80s by Friday. The weekend will be beautiful, dry and warm! Highs will be in the lower 80s on Saturday and lower 70s by Sunday. Halloween will continue to be warm in the lower 80s. Temperatures for Trick-Or-Treaters look to be in the lower 70s. Rain returns next Wednesday.
