Teachman’s Take: Halloween Heat
After a cool start in the middle 50s with plenty of clouds around, temperatures are heating up for Halloween. Highs this afternoon will be in the upper 70s, making it one of the top 5 warmest Halloweens on record. Once the clouds move out later this morning, get ready for plenty of sunshine.
Temperatures will be just as warm on Tuesday as clouds start to increase. Showers and thunderstorms will develop on Wednesday, especially during the morning commute. Right now, it looks like the heaviest rain will set up shop north of I-70. This rain shouldn’t last all day as it moves eastward by afternoon. Temperature dip briefly to the upper 60s on Thursday, but the 70s fight back heading into the weekend. Skies will remain dry Thursday through Sunday.
