Teachman’s Take: Rain Likely Today

It’s curtain call time on any sunshine today as our chances for rain go up after the lunch hour.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely through evening.

Severe weather isn’t anticipated, but a stray storm producing small hail cannot be ruled out, hence today’s Marginal Risk over much of the area:

Rainfall estimates will be between a quarter and a half inch.

Here is a look at the rain hour by hour:

Highs will only be a few degrees warmer than this morning’s low in the lower 70s.

The sky will clear out by Thursday and temps will drop to the middle 60s.  Sunshine remains a key factor in our weather through next Monday.  Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.  Our next best bet for rain will arrive next Tuesday.

Take care,

Teach
