Suchan Says: Tracking Rain

After a beautiful November weekend, attention turns to a weakening upper air system and an approaching cold front early in the week.   This will bring us our only rain chance of the week.

Right now the area of rain is to our west and southwest.  The leading edge of this rain is likely to push into our southern tier of the area by very late tonight.  Through the day Monday, cloudiness will continue to stream in but without strong lift to generate a soaking rain.  Instead, sprinkles or rain showers will be possible through the day into Monday night keeping rainfall amounts on the lighter side.

Election Day Tuesday will start with clouds and a few sprinkles or a rain shower then turns partly sunny during the afternoon.  Breezes will kick up from the north during the day keeping highs in the 50s to lower 60s.
