After a couple days in the 50s yet another big warm up is around the corner! Skies are dominated for the next 3 to 5 days with abundant sunshine and only a few occasional fair weather clouds.
Breezes are picking up Sunday afternoon as temperatures climb back over the 60-degree mark. Looking ahead, a strong storm is set to emerge across the Northern Plains into the Upper Midwest. It will generate strong gusty winds and usher in unseasonably near record warm temperatures across our area. On the northwest side of this system, a large zone of snow is likely but that will remain clear of our area which is typical with November winter storms.
As the storm passes by to our north, we will catch wrap around colder temperatures with blustery northwest winds gusting 30 – 40mph. Next weekend looks colder and by Sunday morning area temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s!!
