Temperatures are once again starting off on a chilly note with clear skies. As winds become more southerly today, highs will jump into the lower 70s. The sun continues to shine through Thursday as highs keep climbing each day. We’ll be in the middle 70s both Wednesday and Thursday! Thursday could be a record-breaker at 76! The old record is 75 from 1999.
Teachman’s Take: Warming Back Up!
A strong storm system is still setting the stage for a massive cool down heading into the weekend.
The snow is still expected to track in the upper Midwest. While some of that snow could come as far south as Nebraska and Iowa, we will only get the BIG drop in temperatures. Highs are expected to drop through the day on Friday. And over the weekend, highs will be in the middle 40s. Overnight lows will be well below freezing, effectively ending our growing season.
