Teachman’s Take: Let The Cool Down Begin…

Temperatures will be colder today!  The winds have switched to the north and this is the beginning of the march of Arctic air.  Highs this afternoon will only top out in the upper 30s and lower 40s.  We will briefly see sunshine today before clouds return after dark.

Flurries and light snow are still likely for Wednesday.  Around sunrise the snow will start on the Kansas side and spread eastward.

Anywhere from a dusting to a half inch is possible with this system.  Isolated spots up to 1″ are also likely.
Brutal cold kicks in Thursday and Friday with highs in the 20s.
Lows by Friday morning will be in the single digits.  Temperatures start to warm over the weekend into the 30s and 40s.  There’s a chance for rain, possibly snow, by Sunday.
Take care,
