Williams’s Wrap: Snow Moves Out, Cold Sticks Around
Although light, Wednesday’s snow showers did cause some accumulation across the area. Wintry weather is starting to wind down, but with temperatures staying below freezing and wet roadways, it would be wise to take it easy out there as there could be some slick spots.
Expect a very cold start to Thursday with early morning temperatures in the teens. Skies will clear out, leading to a bright day but layers will be your best bet at staying warm. Highs only reach the middle 20s. A breeze out of the northwest will make it feel like the single digits and teens most of the day. So Thursday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium will require a good amount of your winter gear if you plan on going to the game.
Temperatures stay frigid Friday and then they’ll briefly improve Saturday before dropping again Sunday. Saturday night and Sunday also brings a slight chance for a mixed shower. There’ll be a couple chances for some bursts of light snow next week as we see a series of quick moving disturbances roll through the region.
