Williams’s Wrap: Weather For Cold Lovers

Thursday afternoon wind chills are in the teens and temperatures are in the 20s, perfect conditions for those who have been waiting for things to feel more like we’re in the cold season. If you’re not a fan of the cold, a brief break is coming up. Anyone heading to Arrowhead Stadium will want to wear all of their winter gear and layers to guarantee a good time at the game. Skies stay clear during the night as lows fall into the low teens and single digits. That means you’ll want to keep the winter gear close by as Friday starts VERY cold.
Winds won’t be as breezy to start the weekend but highs will be in the upper 20s with mostly sunny skies. Normally, highs in Kansas City are supposed to be in the low 40s. And this is where we’ll end up on Saturday to make for a nice break from the cold before it returns on Sunday.
There’s also a chance for a rain/snow mix Sunday, any accumulation should be light. This will be followed by a few chances for some quick moving flurries late Tuesday and Wednesday.
