Williams’s Wrap: Sunday’s Rain Risk

radar2
Everyone is above freezing at the moment as Sunday morning temperatures continue to hold strong in the 30s and 40s. Areas near the MO/IA state line will try to approach freezing this morning but it’s looking like middle 30s are the coldest temperatures we’ll see until later in the evening. There’s a chance for some light rain/drizzle today and for those areas up north, there could be some wet flakes as well. But the current temperature trend suggests any frozen/partially frozen precipitation will likely melt after reaching the ground. So slick spots aren’t much of a concern.

Highs will be close to where they’re at right now, in the low 40s. Any rain and rain/snow in the area will move out during the afternoon and everyone will be in the clear by Sunday evening. Skies turn partly cloudy during the night and this will lead to a dry start to the work week before temperatures get colder.
