Teachman’s Take: The Cold Air Is Here To Stay

Colder air is marching in and this will set the stage for a chilly week.  Highs today will be in the upper 20s with partly cloudy skies.

A few flurries are possible Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.  Temps remain cold in the upper 20s on Wednesday.  Even colder by Thursday with mostly cloudy skies in the middle 20s.  Lows will dip into the teens.
There is a storm system Friday and into Saturday.  Rain is likely first on Friday and shortly after midnight on Saturday, temperatures will start to fall!  Moisture that remains will change from rain to snow as the day goes on — especially during the afternoon and early evening.  Light accumulations are likely.
Highs by Chiefs Sunday will be in the teens with lows in the single digits.
Take care,
