The first wave of snow is moving across the northern half of the viewing area but will soon push into the southern half over the next couple hours as I type this. Ahead of the main batch of snow, flurries are likely to occur but once the steadier snow arrives it will quickly coat roadways in your area.
Another batch of snow is moving out of southern Nebraska into our area early tonight. This will reinforce hazardous driving conditions through the night if you need to be out and about.
In the morning, lingering snow showers are possible or even just flurries. All snow moves out of the area into the afternoon with some breaks of sun trying to move in. Temperatures however remain in the mid to upper teens keeping roads slick the entire day into Thursday night.
