Teachman’s Take: Winter Weather Advisory Into Thursday

Skies will briefly be clear this morning before clouds move in this afternoon.  Temps out the door will be frigid in the upper single digits to the lower teens.  With the winds factored in, wind chills will be near zero.

This afternoon, temps will remain in the deep freeze in the 20s.

We’re tracking our next storm system that will give us snow as early as 8 PM tonight!  A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at this time and remains in play until 9 AM Thursday.

This snow is expected to continue through the overnight and taper during Thursday morning.

This will be a powdery/fine snow that will be capable of causing slick driving conditions.  Anywhere from 1″ to 2″ is likely with isolated 3″ spots.

Highs will remain in the 20s through Saturday.  Sunday looks to be above freezing.  Temps keep on the milder side of things next week with a chance for rain by Tuesday.

Take care,
