Williams’s Wrap: Mild Tuesday Before Cold Snap

There have been a few reports of light rain and even one report of freezing rain earlier this morning. Any precipitation this morning will be light and scattered. So most of us will stay dry.

Temperatures to start the day are around freezing. They’ll quickly jump into the 50s by mid-day and top out in the upper 50s. Breezy winds won’t give patchy fog a chance to develop but they could gust up to 30mph later in the day. There’s a slight chance for a few late-day sprinkles.

The big bottom out arrives Wednesday as highs fall into the upper 30s. Winds will still be breezy and make it feel like the 20s. The northland could see a few flakes through Wednesday as a winter storm moves through Iowa. Most areas stay dry though.
