Teachman’s Take: Weekend Warm Up

Mostly cloudy and bitter this morning.  A few flurries are possible.

Temps will be in the upper teens and lower 20s.  Wind chills will make it feel closer to 10.

There will be a mix of clouds and sun through the afternoon with highs below normal at 34.

A system quickly moves through on Saturday enhancing our cloud cover.  There could be a few sprinkles/showers on the Missouri side, well to the east of KC.  Warming winds take over deeper into the weekend.  Highs Saturday will be in the 40s with 50s on Sunday (which will be a nice day with the return of sunshine).  Still looks like a chance for showers and thunderstorms from Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning.  Highs these days will mainly be in the 50s with a few spots touching 60.  Winter aims for a return next Wednesday with highs falling back into the 30s.

Take care,
