Teachman’s Take: Coldest Day Of The Week Expected Today

Temperatures start just below freezing this morning.  Sunshine dominates today.

Temperatures turn out this afternoon just a few degrees cooler in the lower 50s.  With the lighter winds this afternoon, it will still be an ideal day for February.

Get ready for a warm up and it begins on Thursday!  Highs will be in the upper 60s.  The winds will pick up from the southwest.  Considering how dry it is, burning is once again strongly discouraged.  Highs will get even better for Friday in the lower 70s!  Sunshine doesn’t leave us through the weekend, but you’ll notice an uptick in cloud cover late in the day on Sunday.  Highs over the weekend, both days, will be near 70.  Unsettled skies return next Monday through Wednesday as our moisture chances will go up.  There is a chance for rain showers Monday through Wednesday.  Nothing that looks heavy at this point, but we will take any moisture we can get.  Highs next week will be spring-like in the 60s with overnight lows in the 40s.

Take care,

Teach
