Teachman’s Take: Long Stretch of Spring-Like Days Are Here!

Temperatures are on the rise this morning.  We’ll be into the lower 60s for the lunch hour.  Highs this afternoon near 70.
We are under a Red Flag Warning:  No burning today as the humidity is low, winds are high and things are bone dry.  Winds will be strong from the southwest at 10 to 15 MPH with gusts above 25.

We’re at the start of a LONG spring-like stretch.  Highs Friday will be in the lower 70s.  No burning again as winds will be breezy, humidity remains low and things continue to stay dry.  Over the weekend, humidity values rise.  Temps remain warm in the upper 60s and lower 70s.  I’m expecting a little more cloud cover by Sunday.  Next Monday looks like a shot for showers.  Not a washout of a day and the intensity looks light.  Highs will stay warm in the upper 60s.  Any signs of rain disappear by Tuesday and temps stay in the lower 70s.  A change is likely late Thursday into Friday as a strong storm system arrives dropping our temps in the 50s.  Late Thursday there is a chance for showers and thunderstorms.  We could be on the drier side of this system, which will rob most of our viewing area of the best chances for moisture.
Take care,
