Teachman’s Take: Finally Some Rain!

Finally…for the first time in nearly a month, we are gaining some measurable rainfall!  It will be around for the morning commute.  Nothing that is too heavy nor severe, but enough to dampen the pavement.

There will still be a few leftover showers for the evening commute.  Temperatures begin warm near 60 and end near 70 this afternoon!  Winds will be breezy from the south/southwest at 10 to 15 MPH and gust up to 20.
A few more warm and potentially record-breaking days are ahead.  Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the middle 70s.  Heading into Thursday, it will be warm again in the upper 60s.  However, by evening showers and a few isolated t-storms are possible.  A strong storm system arrives on Friday that will push us back into winter!  Temps will be dropping during the day and a change from rain over to snow is likely.  Best bets for accumulation stay to our north.  North of 36 Highway stands to see a little light snow on Friday.  Over the weekend, temps stay cool in the 40s.  Another system arrives on Sunday into Monday.  This looks to begin as rain and change to snow by Monday.
Take care,
