Teachman’s Take: Welcome Back, Sunshine!
April 6, 2017

Sunshine dominates all day with temperatures in the lower 50s for the lunch hour.  The high this afternoon with northwesterly winds at 5 to 15 MPH will be 57.

More quiet weather is expected Friday and Saturday with plenty of sunshine.  Highs keep climbing each day.  Middle 60s for Friday followed by the middle 70s on Saturday.  Overall, the majority of the weekend will be fabulous!  But, don’t be caught off guard with storms returning late on Sunday.
The winds will start to kick up Saturday afternoon.  Clouds return throughout the day on Sunday.  Temps by Sunday afternoon will be unseasonably warm near 80!  By evening, thunderstorms will develop.  Some could be on the stronger side with large hail and damaging winds.  These storms will slide southeast heading into Monday morning.
Depending on how far south the front can make it, new thunderstorms will develop Monday afternoon.  Right now, it looks like this new development will be just to the southeast of our viewing area.  We’ll have to watch the position of this front closely.  Highs on Monday will be cooler in the upper 60s.  Sunshine returns Tuesday and for part of Wednesday.  Temps remain in the 60s.  Another chance for storms has been pushed back to Thursday.
Take care,
