Williams’s Wrap: Easter Sunday – Dry Day, Damp Night
April 16, 2017

The possibility of a stray shower through the rest of the morning won’t put a damper on our Easter Sunday. We’ll even see some clearing during the afternoon as skies turn partly sunny. It will be a cooler end to the weekend with highs in the low 70s.

Another slim chance for a shower moves into the southern half of the area later in the afternoon. Towards the evening, a few more showers are possible across the viewing area. After midnight, any rain and rumbles will be confined to areas along and south of I-70. A leftover morning shower is possible Monday but other than that, most of the day will be dry and partly cloudy.

Suchan Says: 12:40am Update as Storms Move Through
April 16, 2017

12:35am radar update as storms move through

Storms moving through ahead of cold front are producing heavy rain, occasional lightning and some very small hail.  There are no active warnings.  Over next few hours they’ll move southeast and out of the region.  I can’t rule out a very isolated warning for hail or wind but in general, am not expecting numerous warnings to be issued.

Easter Sunday has a leftover sprinkle or shower in southern parts of the area otherwise a pretty day is ahead with partly sunny skies and highs in the lower 70s with a light northeast wind.  Happy Easter to you and your family 🙂
