Teachman’s Take: From The Speedway To The “K” — Enjoy The Outdoors

Get ready for a gorgeous stretch of weather — today is just the start!  This afternoon, a few clouds will bubble up and I can’t rule out a few sprinkles south and east of the metro.  The majority of us will stay dry.  Our afternoon high will be 73.

GREAT night for baseball, plus it’s Buck Night and fireworks will follow the game:

Plenty of sunshine over the weekend as temps climb even more.

It will be a shades with heavy sunscreen day at Kansas Speedway:

Upper 70s for Saturday followed by 83 on Sunday!  Dry skies prevail through Monday with hotter temps at 85.  There’s a slim chance for rain Tuesday & Wednesday — I’m still not impressed with our rain chances these 2 days.  However, they look much better Thursday through next Friday.  There will be waves of showers & storms as a storm system parks itself over the central part of the country.  And this rain will more than likely linger into next weekend.  Temps next week stay on the warm side in the 80s.  Overnight lows will be mild in the 60s.

Take care,

Teach
