Williams’s Wrap: Bearable Heat Sunday & Monday

download (4)

Hotter temperatures move in Sunday as highs reach the low 90s across the area. It will still be a bearable day compared to what’s ahead, so take advantage and get some fresh air. Mostly sunny skies and a light and variable wind will make for a decent afternoon as long as you stay hydrated and dress accordingly. There’s a late day/evening chance for a shower or t-storm in our eastern and northeastern counties.

The Kansas City Metro will stay dry not only today but through most of the upcoming week. Our comfort level will go down as temps go from the low 90s Monday to mid/upper 90s by mid week. This has prompted an Excessive Heat Watch that will go into effect Tuesday afternoon and continue through Friday evening.
