Williams’s Wrap: Hotter Wednesday, Then Storms Possible
August 2, 2017

Summer temperatures return Wednesday but then it’ll feel like fall again by Thursday. Highs reach the mid/upper 80s under a partly sunny sky. The afternoon holds a slight chance for an isolated shower or t-shower, most of us will stay dry though.

Wednesday evening skies clear out and stay dry. A cold front moves in through Thursday. Areas north will have the first shot at seeing a few showers/storms in the morning. Chances shift into the KC Metro toward the late morning and afternoon. Through the afternoon a few more scattered showers/storms are possible. We’ll dry out Thursday evening and it’ll turn much cooler by Friday morning. A record low temperature is in jeopardy and the cooldown will continue into the weekend.
