Our next storm system arrives Saturday and is expected to bring heavy rain to the area. Showers and some thunder will start around mid morning and continue through the afternoon and evening.

Showers linger into Sunday morning but should start to taper heading into the afternoon. We could see several inches by the time the weekend is over. A Flash Flood Watch will be in effect Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
