Rain has moved in and it’s not going anywhere at least until Sunday. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 7am Sunday. The radar image above is from 10:30am Saturday. Showers will continue to be steady through the rest of Saturday morning and then become more spotty early in the afternoon. Rain and clouds will keep temperatures in the 60s all day. During the evening and before the sun goes down, storms with heavy rain are expected to line up along I-70 and areas south. This will be the worst of our rain event as showers will continue through the night and into Sunday morning.

By Sunday, a good amount of the viewing area could see 2 to 5+”. Showers taper through Sunday and then we’ll get a few quiet days to dry out.
