Teachman’s Take: A Vitamin “D” Tuesday

Mostly sunny skies this morning will be followed by increasing clouds this afternoon.  It will be a chilly start with temps in the middle 40s.  By the lunch hour, we’ll be sitting comfortably in the lower 60s.  Even with winds from the northwest at 5 to 10 MPH this afternoon, I’m expecting us to rebound nicely to the upper 60s!

Rain returns after midnight.  The heaviest for the Wednesday AM commute will be for areas along and south of I-70.  Rain will be lighter through the afternoon,

Unfortunately, locations hit hard over the weekend with flooding will continue to be plagued by high water.  I easily see another 1″ to 2″ through Wednesday evening in these spots.  New flood watches have been posted for areas in green, which is basically for spots already under warnings related to flooding!

Leftover showers on Thursday shouldn’t be too heavy.  Temperatures will bounce back into the middle 60s.  Lots of sunshine Friday through Sunday with us back into the 70s!  The weekend will be a “Top 10” of spring with highs in the middle to upper 70s.  Unsettled skies return next Monday and Tuesday with showers.  This activity right now doesn’t look that heavy nor severe.  Highs will be in the middle 70s.

Take care,
